FIFA World Cup 2006 ...

Football is one of the most famous sports in the world and the greatest event of the game THE FIFA WORLD CUP concluded recently. It was a treat to watch the players showcase their skills in the quest to win the biggest trophy of their lives. Old warhorses Zidane, Cafu, Figo et. al. and prodigies like Cristiano Ronaldo, Ribery, Podalski, Messi and others brought spark to the tournament. Ghana and Cote d'Ivoire impressed with their skills even though they lacked star-power. The game was played in the greatest of spirits and it was wonderful to watch the players accept defeat gracefully.

A real feast for a football fan like me. Thank you Germany for hosting such a wonderful event. And South Africa, we expect that you will provide the same kind of entertainment.
